Flying House is an original music modern pop/rock band with elements of Brit-Pop, Classic Rock, European and American Folk, and World Beat spice based in St. Louis, MO. The band's current lineup is guitarist and singer/songwriter/vocals James Ibur, his brother, percussionist/ drummer Edward Ibur, soulful singer and harmonica is JJ Skiver, keys and vocals is Tim Redmond, lead drummer is Danny Hommes and John Russell on electric bass.

The Flying House sound is an eclectic mix that is both retro and contemporary and borrows flavors from late 60's/early 70’s psychedelic rock/pop, 80’s infectious ska and reggae, as well as melodic alternative folk/rock/pop with a killer percussive drive!

2023 brings the new EP/LP called Seize the Day/Seize the Day before produced by Sean Garcia, Mastered at BlueJade Audio by Brad Sarno and engineered at RedPill Studio by Jason Detering. Seize the Day is five brand new songs with plenty of exhuberant NOLA style horns, pedal steel and some new insights into the world while Seize the Day Before is a compilation of three songs from Rough Magic and two from Blues for Wolfman redux.

2018's Rough Magic is an eclectic 10-song album produced by Sean Garcia at Sawhorse Studios with engineer, Jason McEntire. The band’s infectious songs feature soulful vocals and classic harmonies, jangly guitars, melodic keyboards along with a driving rhythm section that will appeal to fans of Elvis Costello, Tom Petty, Spoon, Dawes, and The Beatles.
